Kate Middleton and Prince William Unlikely To Have Baby No. 4

On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their second royal engagement together. They visited the Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire, England.

Middleton saw one baby from the crowd and cradled it. The onlookers teased the couple because the duchessed seemed to want another baby prompting Prince William to tell the onlookers, "Don't give my wife any more ideas!"

After a few seconds, Middleton turned to the child's mom to return the baby. Prince William teased his wife, telling her, "Don't take her with you."

An onlooker present at the event captured the moment and shared it on Twitter.

It's not the first time the future king made it known that he is good with their three kids. During a 2019 visit to Northern Ireland, the duchess admitted she felt "broody" after meeting a 5-month-old baby. When the father of the baby asked, "Baby number four?"

Middleton laughed and said, "I think William would be a little worried."

In January 2020, the duchess was also asked about having a fourth baby. Despite various speculations that they might make another baby announcement at the time, the duchess told the royal fan, "I don't think William wants any more."

Why Kate Middleton And Prince William Won't Have Another Baby?

Prince William and Kate Middleton share three children Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3. There have been non-stop rumors that Middleton is pregnant in the past years.

However, royal expert Nick Bullen, founder of True Royal TV, has always believed that the royal couple is good with their three children and is unlikely to welcome another addition for several reasons. First, Middleton had a really tough time during all of her pregnancies. The Duchess of Cambridge suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum.

Second, Middleton was likely keen to follow her parents and their own family. The duchess has two siblings, so she's also after three children only.

"I think they feel that they’ve got a pretty perfect family. I think Kate was always keen to follow with her parents, [Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton], and have that sort of family of five," Bullen told Us Weekly. "She’s [now] matched it. And I think my view is [that] they’ll probably stop here."
