The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dated for over five years before he proposed to her. However, they endured two breakups before their engagement.
In 2007, Kate Middleton was reportedly livid when she saw photos of Prince William dancing on a podium, grabbing the other women's attention.
Photos of the future king surfaced in newspapers and he was allegedly captured embracing a mystery woman on a boy's night out in London, and it didn't sit well with his girlfriend, who allegedly lashed out for his behavior.

"Kate told William that he was making her look bad," an unnamed pal of Middleton said per Geo.TV. "She has coped for years with girls flinging themselves at her boyfriend and, for a while, she found it humorous and even flattering. But after his recent behaviour she gave him an ultimatum and told him that every time he behaved like that in public he was cheapening her image as well as his own."
Middleton made it clear that Prince William's behavior was not okay with her saying, "she wasn't prepared to be treated like a doormat." The duchess also told her then-boyfriend that "his carefree behavior was affecting her image."

Middleton endured various rumors and controversies with her romance with Prince William. However, she didn't let the photos of the royal prince seemingly flirting with other women pass.
"Kate rose above all the rumours and just laughed them off, but something recently snapped in her," a family friend added. "She was irritated when she read about his flirting in Bournemouth and she wasn't best pleased to hear about the blonde he ended up with on the dance floor at Boujis."
