Zack Snyder and his crew have wrapped up filming Justice League's additional photography and although it was previously reported that only the main cast would be involved including Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher, apparently, Amber Heard was part of the festivities as well. This new development might have proven our previous report that Heard's character Mera will appear in Batman's Knightmare vision, replacing Jason Momoa's Aquaman.
Now, the ever-so-controversial actress is expressing her excitement over the upcoming four-parter amidst all of the controversies she's currently facing. In an interview with ComicBook to hype up her upcoming CBS All Access series TheStand, Heard shared that she's so looking to finally seeing the famed Snyder Cut after years of hype. "I'm super excited about it. We just wrapped on reshoots and I just love nerds. I f*cking love nerds, excuse my language."
She then went on to confirm her involvement in Aquaman 2, extending her gratitude to the fans who were responsible for making the first film a huge success for DC. "I'm super excited about the amount of fan love and the amount of fan appreciation that Aquaman has acquired and that it has garnered so much excitement for Aquaman and Mera that it means we'll be coming back. I'm so excited to film that."
It's interesting to think about the overall feel in the studio when they were filming the additional scenes with Heard. Of course, we're all aware of the issues surrounding her personal life but hey, they're professionals after all and they're probably not talking about their issues on set which I believe is the right thing to do.
Meanwhile, Zack Snyder's Justice League will drop on HBO Max in 2021.
