That's a stunning 100% Tomatometer score but not a huge surprise for fans who already have high hopes for the movie. It's also cool that the Audience Score is still a strong 99% after over hundreds of reviews. Needless to say, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is the only anime film to watch out for this year.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is based on Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, the prequel manga to the main series. The manga follows Yuta Okkotsu who is being haunted by his dead ex-girlfriend Rika Orimoto, who has turned into a Curse. Okkotsu's dilemma is noticed by a sorcerer named Satoru Gojo, who invites him to enroll at the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School and learn how to control the Curse. However, another sorcerer becomes interested in Rika and wants to take her away from Okkotsu!
The film will be released both with subs and in English dub. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 hits theaters in the US, Canada, and the UK on Friday, March 18, 2022.
