JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency Gets Awesome Tribute in Family Guy

There is little doubt that the first season of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was legendary. After all, the two-part season gave us two amazing opening sequences and a meme-worthy closing sequence. Now, Family Guy has decided to pay tribute to the ending theme of Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency.

The first season of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure adapted the first and second chapters of the manga. Although Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency had different opening themes, they shared the ending theme Roundabout by YES. In addition to that, the second part of the anime had a distinct way of ending each episode, playing the song right before a cliffhanger and the words "To Be Continued" is shown.

Family Guy is known for making several pop-culture references so it was only a matter of time before the animated show made a JoJo reference. It finally happened in the latest episode after the Griffins are safely back at home and Stewie wants to "end it with a To Be Continued meme." Check out the scene below.

The JoJo reference appeared in Brief Encounter, the latest episode of Family Guy Season 20. It's a hilarious moment and one that is truly appreciated by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans.

Battle Tendency followed Joseph Joestar and Caesar Zeppeli as they went up against the Pillar Men. To defeat Wamuu, Esidisi, and Kars, the duo train to use Hamon under Lisa Lisa.
