The news is out: John Krasinski is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Reed Richards after years of fans asking for him to play the role. He plays the character as part of the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and all he can say to describe the experience was “fantastic.”

When asked on Twitter how Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was, the only word John Krasinski could say was “fantastic,” and fitting enough, he plays Mister Fantastic in the movie as a member of the Illuminati from Earth 838, probably granting one of the wishes of many fans to have him cast as Reed Richards.

Fan cast for Mr. Fantastic for many years, Marvel finally decided to tap on John Krasinski to play the role and while they were coy at first to confirm whether he would portray the part, the movie is a solid proof that they heard the call of the fans.

Fan casts are all around for the other members of Marvel’s first family after Krasinski’s appearance as Mr. Fantastic.
