Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have not opened up about their plans, but multiple sources are saying that the couple could be headed to the altar soon. And even though Lopez and Affleck already have children from their previous marriages, there are claims that they still want to add at least one baby into the mix.
Jennifer Lopez Wants To Have A Baby But Ben Affleck Doesn’t
National Enquirer, in its March 7 issue, claimed that Jennifer Lopez has been urging Affleck to have a baby with her. Since she could no longer conceive naturally, the Marry Me actress decided to go the surrogacy route. At first, Lopez knew that she had her boyfriend’s support, but Affleck had a change of heart because he’s allegedly exhausted.
“Ben liked this idea at the start of their romance, but he’s tiptoed away from it lately and that’s a big bummer for Jennifer. She wants to start interviewing potential surrogates right away and there’s no time to waste, given their ages. She wants a mini-Bennifer and thinks that time is now or never,” an unnamed source said.
The unnamed source said that Affleck no longer wants to have a baby with Lopez because he has a lot of things to attend to. He has his children to take care of, and he also has a very busy schedule because of his projects.
Ben Affleck Wants To Wed Jennifer Lopez First Before Having A Baby
The Batman v Superman actor also wants to prioritize his wedding to Lopez instead of having a baby.
“Ben’s exhausted! He can barely keep up with his lifestyle, his work, and everything else that’s going on, all while co-parenting three kids with his ex. He wants an official engagement and he’ll help plan the fanciest, most lavish wedding Hollywood has ever seen to please Jennifer, but he’s asked her to put having children on the back burner and that’s caused tension,” the source said.

However, the unnamed source insisted that Lopez wants to have both a wedding and a baby with Affleck. So, she’s not taking no for an answer.
“Now, she’s frustrated with this turnaround and isn’t going to let it go just like that. The players may have changed but the goal is the same. Jennifer wants a family with Ben and he’ll have to go along if he wants to keep her happy,” the unnamed source concluded.

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck On Having More Kids
Years ago, Lopez revealed that she wants to have more children after her engagement with Alex Rodriguez. However, the exes never made it to the altar, and they were never blessed with kids either.
But the publication insists that Lopez’s stand about having kids is still the same. Only this time it’s with Affleck and not Rodriguez.
“I don’t know that it’s in God’s plan but I would like to try. I’m so open to it!” Lopez told People in 2019.
Last year, Page Six claimed that Affleck and his then-girlfriend, Ana de Armas decided to call it quits because the actor doesn’t want to have more children. De Armas, on the other hand, wanted to have kids with the actor.
“He would not commit to having more kids. She is in her 30s. It was a deal-breaker. Ben is not in a place to start a new family. Both he and Ana have three jobs lined up. His family has, and will continue, to be his focus,” a source said.
