Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez allegedly have so much respect for one another because they are both single moms. Even though they are not best friends, the two A-listers’ relationship has always been amicable. However, multiple reports revealed that Lopez sided with Ben Affleck after the latter threw shade at Garner during his interview with Howard Stern.
Jennifer Garner and Lopez didn’t have a falling out after the incident, but there are rumors that the former’s relationship with her ex-husband, Affleck was forever changed.
Jennifer Garner Still Wants Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez To Be Happy
Life & Style, in its Jan. 10 issue, claimed that Garner couldn’t care less about Affleck and Lopez’s relationship. After all, her only concern is that the Marry Me actress takes care of her ex-husband and ensures that he will stay sober under her watch.
“As long as J.Lo can support Ben in his sobriety and he’s in a good state to see the kids, that’s all Jen really cares about,” the unnamed source said.

The unnamed source said that the last thing that Garner wants is to make things even more difficult for her children. After all, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel have grown close to Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme.
“Jen and Ben’s kids, especially Seraphina and Samuel, get along really well with the twins. They’re all super close. At the same time, they don’t want their mom to feel replaced or left out, so they haven’t completely let their guard down when they’re around J.Lo and her family. It’s like they’re stuck in the middle,” the unnamed source said.
Jennifer Garner Hasn’t Forgiven Ben Affleck
Garner is still, allegedly, upset with Affleck for defaming her character even though he knows how much his ex-wife helped him when they were still together.
“Their relationship started off great, but it slowly began to crumble when Ben started to show his true colors. Little by little, the marriage became a nightmare, thanks to the lies, his selfishness, and addiction issues, and a lack of trust. Jen is telling friends he was the husband from hell,” the unnamed source said.
Toward the end of Garner and Affleck’s relationship, the actress allegedly felt as though she was the actor’s mom and not his wife. The fact that the Batman v Superman actor also kept a lot of secrets from Garner didn’t help.
Ben Affleck Cheated On Jennifer Garner
Cheating scandals also plagued their marriage on multiple occasions. And the last time that Affleck was accused of cheating was in 2015 shortly after the exes announced their divorce.
A rep for Affleck denied that he had an affair with his children’s nanny. But regardless of what the truth was, the rumors were still one of the reasons why Garner and Affleck’s marriage fell apart.
“That was the ultimate betrayal and the final nail in the coffin for Jen. She kicked him out that night,” the unnamed source said.
Throughout the years, Garner and Affleck’s relationship improved. They became co-parents to their three children. They have also been praising each other during their interviews until Affleck spoke with Howard Stern last month.

Ben Affleck Gushed Over Jennifer Garner
On Mother’s Day last year, Affleck gushed over his ex-wife on his Instagram post dedicated to Garner.
“So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother’s Day. Love, their Dad,” Affleck wrote alongside a photo of Garner with their children.
Two years ago, Affleck told the New York Times that his biggest regret in life was his divorce from Garner.
So, Affleck’s recent comments about his marriage to Garner seemed out of character for the actor. He later explained that it wasn’t his intention to speak ill about his ex-wife.
