Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s fans are still having a hard time accepting the fact that the exes are nothing more than friends. Even though Aniston and Pitt have both made it clear that they are buddies, their supporters are still keeping their fingers crossed that the A-listers would change their minds one day.
Unfortunately, that day hasn’t come. But this never stopped different publications from making up stories about Jennifer Aniston and Pitt.
Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt Don’t Want To Date Other People
Woman’s Day, in its Jan. 10 issue, claimed that Aniston and Pitt are still single because they are secretly hoping that they could get back together.
“Everyone in Hollywood would be dying to be with Brad or Jen and yet they don’t seem to commit to anyone else beyond casual dating. The only constant in both their lives over the past couple of years has been each other. They hang out all the time and go on little dates together. They’ve even gotten back into business together when Jen rejoined Plan B entertainment, the company they founded together when they were married that Brad took control of when they divorced,” an unnamed source said.

Aniston and Pitt’s friends are also, allegedly, worried that the A-listers could be missing out on the beautiful life that they could have together.
“They say they’re happiest just being friends, but those close to them worry they’re either not admitting their deep love for each other, or at worst the fact that they just can’t quit each other means they’ll never find lasting happiness with anyone else,” the unnamed source claimed.
Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt Have Been Going On Secret Dates
For now, Aniston and Pitt have allegedly been meeting up religiously for dinner and casual drinks. The A-listers have also, allegedly, been flirting with each other both in public and in private.
But the unnamed source said that the exes do not seem to realize that what they’re doing suggests that they are still interested in each other.
“The problem is, they don’t even know. All they do know is it seems they can’t live without each other, which makes it impossible to move on. Brad leaving Jen was the darkest time in her life, which is probably why she’s reticent to dive back in wholeheartedly, even if she dearly wants to,” the unnamed source explained.
Brad Pitt Regrets Divorcing Jennifer Aniston
As for Pitt, the actor allegedly regrets splitting from Aniston and hopes he could go back in time and not push through with the divorce.
“Brad learned a valuable lesson that the grass isn’t always greener, and he’ll regret divorcing Jen for the rest of his life. For now, they’re enjoying their simple life together, whether it’s romantically or just as friends – but it’s hard to see how this doesn’t remind them of just how great they were together when things were good,” the unnamed source concluded.

Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Are Just Buddies
But regardless of what the unnamed sources say, Aniston and Pitt are nothing more than friends. And it also took them years to reach this point.
After their divorce, Aniston told Vanity Fair that her ex-husband seemed to have lost his sensitivity chip because Pitt posed for happy photos with Angelina Jolie.
“The world was shocked and I was shocked,” she said.
But almost 20 years later, Aniston told Howard Stern that she and Pitt are buddies.
“Brad and I are buddies. We’re friends. We speak and there's no oddness at all, except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be, or assumed there to be,” she said.
