Why Jenelle Evans Was Fired From Teen Mom 2
Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason, killed their French bulldog, Nugget. The death of their dogs made headlines in May 2019. Following the incident, MTV decided to cut ties with Jenelle. The network said it didn't want to film with her again.
Eason confirmed that he killed the dog. However, in his defense, he said he did it to protect their 4-year-old daughter Ensley Jolie.
"It was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger," Eason explained. "This was something that nobody wants to ever have to do. The dog was aggressive. Yes, she might not be huge or whatever, but when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again."
Eason admitted that he still thinks about Nugget every day. He admitted that it was difficult for him and it was not something he wanted to do.
