Stan Lee could have been 100 years old on December 28, and many worldwide celebrated and greeted the comic icon, including Gunn.

Gunn helped Marvel Studios launch the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise before he joined DC Studios.

Also, as a big comic fan, Lee has greatly impacted his and other comic book fans’ lives. That said, he honored the life and career of one of the greatest comic book creators of all time in a post on Twitter.

"Happy 100th Birthday to Stan Lee. You are missed, my friend. #StanLee100," he wrote.
