James Corden the Next Ellen Degeneres? Late Show Host Called Out for Allegedly Being Abusive

James Corden is one of the bubbly hosts that one will see on TV. However, a restaurant owner said he wasn't that friendly at all to his employees at Balthazar.

James Corden Called The Most Abusive Customer

Restaurant owner Keith McNally took to Instagram and called Corden the "most abusive customer" he had at Balthazar in New York City.

"James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago," he wrote on Instagram. "I don't often 86 a customer, to today I 86'd Corden. It did not make me laugh."

He stated two instances when Corden allegedly treated his staff rudely. McNally, who owned several restaurants, decided to ban Corden.

Several netizens reacted and shared their not-so-friendly encounter with the Late Late Show With James Corden host.

"I have heard from someone that says he’s one of the worst celebrities that they’ve had an encounter with.

I personally have never met him, so I have no opinion if it’s true either way," Gee Scott Sr. tweeted.

"When I was doing stand up in the UK, nobody had one good thing to say about him," Brian Moote added.

"A former colleague went on sm and had a very explicit rant about how vile he was, to work with. It's bad when crew break the "silence code" when working with some real feckers. Crew talk to each other so we know what we're dealing with. It should be noted," a third wrote.

James Corden The Next Ellen DeGeneres?

The backlash and scrutiny James Corden received after being called out for his alleged rude behavior reminded many of Ellen DeGeneres. Corden was even compared to DeGeneres, Newsweek reported.

The former talk show host was also called out on social media. DeGeneres, who had been known for promoting kindness, tarnished her image in July 2020 when Buzzfeed News published an article with numerous allegations made about her and the toxic work environment behind The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Many netizens who saw the recent report about Corden's alleged behavior were not surprised because they had already heard similar stories or had a bad encounter with him.

"I love that people are shocked that James Corden is hated by an entire restaurant chain," Josh Macuga, host at Fan Controlled, tweeted. "HE IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MALE ELLEN. Nobody listens until something like this goes public."

"So @JKCorden  is the male version of @TheEllenShow #trashhuman #toxic  #fake," another added.

"James Corden and Ellen DeGeneres are perfect examples of how being a complete c*nt will eventually catch up to you and you will get your karma," a third user wrote.

James Corden already apologized to the restaurant owner who banned him from Balthazar. In a separate post on Instagram, McNally decided not to ban the celebrity anymore in his restaurant.
