Is The Executioner and Her Way of Life Based on a Light Novel or Manga: Menou is as is as ruthless as ever.

Forming part of the Spring anime season this year is The Executioner and Her Way of Life which is one of the top shows in the current line-up following the story of the Lost Ones and their fate from Menou. With such an intriguing series, a lot are curious about whether The Executioner and Her Way of Life is based on a light novel or a manga and its current status.

The Executioner and Her Way of Life follows Menou, an executioner, who gets to eliminate the Lost Ones, those who are from an alternate world with powers called as Pure Concept.

Menou is supposed to kill Akari, however, she is almost invincible given that she has the Pure Concept of Time and she can reverse her death even after being killed. Menou has to stay with her to find a way to eliminate Akari.

The anime of The Executioner and Her Way of Life made its way to the small screens last April 2, 2022, on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11. The show releases weekly on HIDIVE for those with a membership on the streaming platform.

The Executioner and Her Way of Life is based on a Japanese yuri light novel series with the words of Mato Sato and the illustrations of Nilitsu.

The light novel was first released on SB Creative with seven volumes in July 2019 under their imprint GA Bunko.

There is also a manga adaptation of the same name with the illustrations of Ryo Mitsuya which is published in the seinen manga magazine of Square Enix, Young Gangan, which was first released in June 2020 where it has three tankōbon volumes to date.

The light novel series and the manga adaptation are both under the licensing of Yen Press which makes The Executioner and Her Way of Life available in North America. Both are still ongoing and are far from the end.

The Executioner and Her Way of Life releases weekly on HIDIVE every Saturday in Japan at 12:30 AM JST and Friday in other parts of the world due to the time difference.
