Is Avatar: The Way of Water Suitable For Kids?
For the parents out there who are considering to watch Avatar: The Way of Water with their children, the sequel has been given a PG-13 rating for some use of profane and strong language, some scenes with violence, and slight nudity, thus, parents are warned to be cautious as some material may not be age-appropriate for kids under the age of 13.
Avatar: The Way of Water takes everyone back for a new adventure in Pandora as it explores another part of it with the introduction of new characters especially considering the decade-long gap between the first film and the sequel.
That being said, Avatar: The Way of Water features the family of Jake Sully and Neytiri with their children, Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Tuk, short for Tuktirey. They also have two adopted kids, the Na'vi teenager Kiri, and the human kid who grew up in Pandora, Spider.

The film also marks the return of the Sky People, the humans, as they continue their exploration in Pandora, and it introduces a new faction of the Na'vi, the Metkayina clan. James Cameron directed, wrote, edited, and produced the sequel. Jon Landau also sits as its producer.
