Ironheart Set Photos Reveal First Look at Anthony Ramos as The Hood

Recently, rumors were starting to spread online that Anthony Ramos is playing the beloved Marvel Comics villain, The Hood, in Ironheart. While Marvel Studios has not made any official confirmation on the Hamilton vet's role in the series, it seems all but certain now that the information is true thanks to the set photos that are beginning to emerge from the series.

As reported by The Direct, Just Jared shared new set photos from Ironheart that were taken from its filming place in Atlanta, Georgia which reveals the first look at Ramos as The Hood.

The Hamilton star can be seen sporting a comic-accurate costume with a red cloak while carrying a handgun just like the character's usual looks in his appearances in the comics. You can check the photos here courtesy of Twitter user @ironhnews:

In case you're not familiar, The Hood (aka Parker Robbins) started as an average thief, but after he shoots a Demon and steals its magical cloak and boots, his entire life changes. The boot gave him superpowers such as levitation and invisibility. As "The Hood," he became a prominent figure in the New York criminal underworld and formed his own crime syndicate.

According to Deadline's report on Ramos' casting in Ironheart, he is expected to have a major role in the future of the MCU beyond the series similar to Jonathan Majors' appearance as Kang the Conqueror last year in Loki before showing up again in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

The set photos are pretty much the confirmation that Ramos is playing The Hood in the series considering the costume that he is wearing. It is curious to see how he'll exactly play into the story of the series as well as his involvement in the overarching plot of the MCU.
