One of the many MCU shows that are currently in the works is Ironheart which will feature Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. The exact details of the series are still under wraps although there have been rumors that it might connect to the very first Iron Man film. Now, it looks like there is a new development on the project as a beloved actor has joined the series.

Deadline has reported that Hamilton and In the Heights star Anthony Ramos is joining Ironheart for a key role. While the exact details of his character are still under wraps, it is said to be similar to how Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror was introduced in Loki where he won't be just playing a major role in the series, but he is expected to appear in future MCU projects as well.

Ramos has become one of the rising stars today in Hollywood thanks to his breakthrough role in Broadway's Hamilton where he earned an Emmy nomination for the Disney+ film. He also starred last year in the critically-acclaimed musical film In the Heights where he garnered a Golden Globe nomination. He also co-starred in films such as A Star Is Born, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Troll World Tour and he is the lead of the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts which is set to be released next year.

Joining the MCU is certainly going to be a huge step for Ramos' career. Of course, the question now is which character he might be playing which is expected to be a major one given that he will also be part of future MCU projects. There have been rumors for some time now that The Hood might be appearing in the series and that type of role could definitely fit him. Whatever role that he will play, it is just exciting that another talented actor is going to be part of the MCU.
