Hunters Season 2 Release Date, Spoilers & Update: Prime Video Shares Exciting News On Alternate History Drama

Two years after the show was renewed for a second season, Prime Video has confirmed that Hunters Season 2 will launch on its platform in January, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Unfortunately, Season 2 will also be the show's final season, but creator David Weil has guaranteed that it will be worthwhile. To begin, more hunters have been introduced to heighten the suspense.

What to Expect from Hunters Season 2

A first look at the forthcoming season is also available on Prime Video. It features the show's hunters, who are back on the hunt to find Nazis wherever they may be and thwart ongoing plans for a Fourth Reich, returning to their mission.

In Hunters, the titular Nazi hunters pair up to find Nazi war criminals who, according to what they discover, are preparing to establish a Fourth Reich in America.

The hunters sort of split off and pursued other interests in the Season 1 finale, but the current season will see them dust off their boots and get back in the saddle after discovering that not only is Adolf Hitler alive, but his plans for a Fourth Reich are moving forward.

With little time on their hands, the hunters will have to work harder than ever to thwart Hitler's intentions. Udo Kier, a German actor, will play the dictator, and he has enormous shoes to fill.

Hunters Season 2 Release Date

Hunters Season 2 will explore alternate timelines, according to Weil. In addition to the main timeline, the show will also transport viewers to earlier occasions where Al Pacino will reprise his role as Meyer Offerman, also known as The Wolf.

Offerman was slain by fellow hunter Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman) in the first season after he learned that he was an undercover Nazi. Now viewers can understand how The Wolf managed to go unseen up until that scene.

Weil says, "I would only ever invoke Hitler if we're going to deliver justice in some hopefully satisfying way." according to EW, promising to put the dictator to an end in Hunters Season 2.

Hunters Season 2 is set to debut on Prime Video on Jan. 13. Season 1 is currently available to stream on the platform.
