How Many Episodes Will Demon Slayer Season 2 Have?

One of the most popular and talked about shows for the Winter 2022 season is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, leaving fans all over the world hyped up every week.

The series is currently on its second cour of the second season, with the season coming to a close in February 2022.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is split into two cours, with the first part covering a TV version of the Mugen Train arc. Compared to the film that was released earlier, the TV adaptation contains new music and animation.

The second part, which aired on December 5, 2021, focuses on the Entertainment District arc.

The Mugen Train arc follows Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko as they accompany the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro, on a mission aboard the Mugen Train. The Entertainment District arc follows after the events of Mugen Train, where the series' leading trio follows Uzui Tengen, the Sound Hashira, on a mission in the Yoshiwara district.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a shonen manga series written by Gotouge Koyoharu. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. The first season of the anime adaptation, produced by the studio Ufotable, premiered in April 2019.

In October 2021, studio Ufotable returned with the second season premiere. With that, how many episodes in total will Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 have?

How Many Episodes Will Demon Slayer Season 2 Have?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is split into two cours. The first part, which features the Mugen Train arc, contains a total of seven episodes.

The second part, which follows the Entertainment District arc, will have a total of 11 episodes. The final episode of Demon Slayer will be longer than usual, running 45 minutes long.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 airs every Sunday at 11:15 PM JST. The series is available for streaming on the following platforms: Crunchyroll, Funimation, Wakanim, Hulu, VRV, and Netflix.
