Let us first focus on the anime. The first episode aired in 1999 and now has around 990 episodes. Take note that the series is still ongoing and the number of episodes will surely increase over time. Each episode is around 22 to 24 minutes long. If we multiply that to 990 episodes, that is 23,760 minutes which is equivalent to 396 hours or 16.5 days.

Take note that in that 16.5 days, there are no breaks like eating, sleeping, or going to the washroom. It would be continuous viewing. With this in mind, the 16 days would be extended and maybe could end up to one or two months depending on the hours spent on watching.

Meanwhile, for the manga, it will depend on the reading speed of a person. There are people who read fast and those who would like to savor each moment. Let’s say the person reads 5 minutes per chapter this could mean that the reader can finish 4 volumes per day.

There is also a chance that the big arcs can be finished in a week while medium arcs can be done in days at that pace. With that, there is a chance that the manga can be finished in a month. As mentioned, it will still depend on the pace of the reader.

While it is good to finish the manga and series as soon as possible to catch up on the story, it is also advisable to read and watch at their own pace. One Piece won’t be gone so there’s a lot of time for people to enjoy it.
