Little is known on what Daredevil: Born Again has in store for MCU fans, apart from an expanded close-up look on Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio’s life in New York City in this reboot. However, another cast member has joined the crew and that is House of the Dragon star Arty Froushan.
Arty Froushan played the role of Ser Qarl Correy, a household knight in service to House Velaryon at the High Tide (who appeared in House of the Dragon Season 1, Episode 6: The Princess and the Queen), and as per Deadline, Froushan is set to star in the Disney+ reboot, Daredevil: Born Again in a key, but undisclosed, role. While Marvel Studios has yet to confirm his role, it is reportedly believed that Froushan will be portraying Harry, one of the characters opposite Charlie Cox’s titular character and D’Onofrio’s Kingpin.
Froushan’s casting came after seeing D’Onofrio’s first on-set looks on set of Born Again (via Reddit). Froushan is seen sporting a suit while standing beside D’Onofrio, which closely resembles the rumored plot detail of “Mayor Fisk” story arc being featured in Born Again, given that the actor will also reprise the role in Echo which will lay down as to how Kingpin came to be NYC’s mayor.

Aside from House of the Dragon, Froushan is also known for playing chancellor Jonah Breakspear in Prime Video’s Carnival Row series. Alongside this new character, Daredevil: Born Again cast includes Jon Berthal’s Punisher, Sandrine Holt’s Vanessa Fisk, with Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, Michael Gaston, and Margarita Leviava in undisclosed roles.
Unfortunately, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page and Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson are not set to reprise their roles in the reboot. It is worth mentioning though that their disappearance from the series’ ensemble is related to a particular timeline theory on when Born Again occurs.
