Prince Harry and Meghan Markle probably shared too much personal stuff in their Netflix docuseries, as one royal expert warned them about Hollywood elites taking their distance from them.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Face Setbacks From Harry & Meghan?

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, weighed in on how Harry & Meghan would probably affect their circle. According to Schofield, the Hollywood elites mentioned in the documentary, including Beyonce and the Obamas, might not like it.

"Obviously the series is crafted to sway an American audience - which it could. Not all Americans will be privy to their dishonesty and the history," Schofield told Express.

"But overall, I think a product like this will make the Hollywood elite continue to distance themselves. Beyoncé doesn't want you reading out private text messages on your reality show. Beyoncé, the Obamas, they value their privacy."

One scene features Markle receiving a message from the Lemonade singer

"Beyoncé just texted," Markle said while sitting next to the Duke of Sussex in their home office in Montecito, California, Billboard reported. Markle read the message with a smile and said, "I still can't believe she knows who I am!"

"Go and call her," Harry suggested, to which Markle declined. "[Bey] said she wants me to feel safe and protected," the former Suits star continued. "She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed."

Harry & Meghan Will Have Worse Impact On The Sussexes Than The Royal Family?

Schofield believed that the docuseries would have a more negative impact on the Sussexes than the members of the royal family. According to her, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were "doing exactly what they are guilty of" when it came to painting people in a bad light.

"I think that the royal family will survive this reality show. Ultimately, it is not a positive reflection on Harry and Meghan. They look like they are in constant conflict," Schofield said of the Sussexes' Netflix show.

American commentator Michael Cole echoed the same sentiment. In an op-ed published on Express, he wrote, "It is all utterly undignified, beneath the behaviour expected of a Prince. 'It's a dirty game,' says Harry. Yes. And now he's shown how it's played."
