When Wednesday came out on Netflix, the show literally changed the lives of several of its actors overnight. One of those actors is Percy Hynes White, who has been waiting for his lucky break in the industry for almost a decade. Unfortunately, it looks like his 15 minutes of fame might be going out faster than it started.

White stars in Wednesday as the potential love interest of Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Jenna Ortega), Xavier Thorpe.

He is a 21-year-old Canadian actor who started acting since 2012. Aside from Wednesday, White is famous for his roles in A Christmas Horror Story and Edge of Winter.

But he earned his big break in Wednesday.

Why Are People Rallying to #ArrestPercy on Twitter?

A number of women turned to Twitter to make sexual assault allegations against White. These allegations were first aired by @milkievich on the social platform.

The Twitter thread details a few incidents that alleged White and his group of friends would host parties and "explicitly invite women they thought were hot so they could get them drunk and high enough to have sex with them." These incidents took place while White was studying high school in Toronto and was between 17 and 20 years of age. White is currently 21 years old.

In addition to these alleged rape parties, White was accused of assaulting several women and calling them abusive names. He has even shared nude photos of women without their consent.

After the original thread was posted, several other women chimed in and shared their horrible experience with the young actor.

"Knowing what he's done to me and other women is disgusting" - @karissbs

"He let me get raped in his basement, and when he called me about it he was most worried about the police and not if I was okay." - @desireecameron

Are The Parties Real?

A Twitter user, @SfmJoshua, said in a now deleted tweet that the parties were real.

“I’ve been around him and his friends growing up and have had multiple girlfriends tell me the awful things they would do to them. Would also go to some of his parties and witness a few girls going upstairs… Once upstairs they would occasionally lock the doors. It was only till the week after that I would hear the stories…”.

But he also tweeted that he "stands by what he said."

"This whole Percy hynes white situation has gotten me scared as shit. However, I stand by what I said. I don’t have a reason to be afraid anymore. Speaking up is what’s right. To any victim that has been affected, I want you to know that we are here for you."

Other Allegations

After things blew up on Twitter, people dug up old tweets and found racial slurs

and even some inappropriate photos that White allegedly sent to minors.

A photo of him inappropriately touching a woman has also emerged online.

Some have even pointed out that White's hand on Ortega's shoulder in a recent after party was inappropriate.

There is also one tweet that showed Ortega's uncomfortable expression after the photo was taken.

Fans of Ortega are asking to #ProtectJenna against Percy by removing him from the show and are calling for the actor to be arrested instead of just being canceled.

Has Percy Hynes White Responded?

As of this writing, Hynes White has disabled comments on his Instagram account.

There is a tweet with a screenshot of a message with White apologizing (and therefore admitting) to what he did.

The actor has not yet released a statement to respond to these allegations against him.

While it's always important to assume he is innocent until proven guilty, there's no denying that his career has just taken a nosedive as fans are asking Netflix to remove him from Wednesday Season 2.

Netflix has not released a statement yet.
