Here Are All the Trailers That Dropped at SDCC


This past weekend, Comic-Con International once again took over San Diego, and with it came a number of exciting trailers for upcoming Hollywood blockbusters, new and returning television series, Netflix originals, and more. In fact, so much came out of SDCC this year that even the most dedicated fans likely struggled to keep up.

Thankfully, we here at Epicstream have scoured the internet to gather up all of the trailers that were released over the course of the weekend and present them to you in one place, so grab some popcorn, sit back and enjoy all the trailers that dropped at SDCC:

  1. Bright

    Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Will Smith) and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton) embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it. 

  2. The Lego Ninjago Movie

    Six young ninjas (Lloyd, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane, and Nya) are tasked with defending their island home of Ninjago. By night, they're gifted warriors, using their skills and their impressive fleet of vehicles to fight villains and monsters. By day, they're ordinary teens struggling against their greatest enemy: high school.

  3. The Last Ship – Season 4

    Just when you thought the fight for humanity's survival had been won with the cure, another twist puts our heroes out of the frying pan and into the fire. The virus has now managed to jump kingdoms, infecting the world's crops and food supply. Survival doesn't mean much if everyone left alive is slowly starving to death.

  4. Vikings – Season 5

    In Norway, in the wake of the death of king Ragnar and his son Sigurd, the sons of Ragnar are locked in civil war. Ivar claims the title of king over the kingdom of Kattegat, supported by Hvitserk and king Harald, while Ubbe sides with Lagertha against their alliance. This, and much more, are in store when Vikings returns for Season 5.

  5. My Friend Dahmer

    Before Jeffrey Dahmer became a notorious serial killer, he was a shy, alcoholic teen who never quite fit in. Based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Derf Backderf, this is the true, haunting story of Jeffrey Dahmer in high school.

  6. American Horror Story: Cult

    So far, this haunting anthology series has focused on different characters and locations, including a house with a murderous past, an asylum, a witch coven, a freak show, a hotel, and a farmhouse. We know that Season 7 will be centered on the 2016 presidential election and will apparently involve the return of Freak Show’s Twisty the Clown, but the trailer doesn’t reveal much else in terms of plot so fans will likely be left in suspense until the season premiere this fall.

  7. Fear the Walking Dead – Season 3B

    When Fear the Walking Dead returns for the second half of Season 3, the focus  seems to remain primarily on the Clark family and their attempts to survive in a world that’s breaking down around them. Everyone is being pushed to their breaking point, and with resources running out and different groups laying claim to what they think is theirs, it’s only a matter of time before all hell breaks loose.

  8. Legends of Tomorrow – Season 3

    After the defeat of Eobard Thawne and his equally nefarious Legion of Doom, the Legends face a new threat created by their actions at the end of last season. In revisiting a moment in time that they had already participated in, they have essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms – a scattering of people, animals, and objects all across time.

  9. Preacher – Season 2

    When Jesse Custer, a small-town preacher with a criminal past, realizes God is absent from Heaven, Jesse sets out to find him. Along for the ride are Tulip, Jesse’s volatile true love, and Cassidy, a 119-year-old Irish vampire and Jesse’s best mate. However, the gang’s pursuit leads them to New Orleans, where they must dodge local gangsters, dangerous agents, and other unimaginable mayhem on their way to uncovering an even bigger secret.

  10. Stargate: Origins

    Young Catherine Langford embarks on an unexpected adventure to unlock the mystery of what lies beyond the Stargate in order to save the Earth from darkness.

  11. Jigsaw

    Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be when the man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade?

  12. Stan Against Evil – Season 2

    Stan Against Evil Season 2 picks up again in Willard’s Mill, the small New England town where the disgruntled former sheriff Stan Miller must begrudgingly get off his couch to solve the mystery of Sheriff Barret’s time-travelling disappearance.

  13. The Orville

    Set 300 years in the future, The Orville follows the adventures of a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth's interstellar Fleet. Facing cosmic challenges from without and within, this motley crew of space explorers promise to boldly go where no comedic drama has gone before.

  14. The Originals – Season 5

    A family of power-hungry, thousand-year-old vampires looks to take back the city that they built and dominate all those who have done them wrong. Season 5, which premieres in 2018, will be the final season of the series.

  15. Teen Wolf – Season 6B

    Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia and the rest of the gang have returned to Beacon Hills High for the second semester of senior year. Everyone is feeling a bit emotional and anxious as they inch closer to graduation and the thought of imminently parting ways almost becomes a reality. But their last semester in high school will not go without trouble thanks to Gerard, who’s building an army to kill all the werewolves.

  16. DuckTales

    After not speaking to one another for ten years, Scrooge McDuck is reunited with Donald Duck after he and his three nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie move into McDuck Manor. The presence of the newcomers rekindles Scrooge's spirit of adventure, leading the group to go on many new treasure-hunting expeditions, while the nephews and their new friend Webby uncover the truth behind what caused their uncles to become estranged and retire from adventuring.

  17. Big Hero 6: The Series

    Big Hero 6: The Series continues the adventures of 14-year-old tech genius Hiro and his robot pal Baymax. Joining the pair on their journey is control freak Wasabi, scientist Honey Lemon, fanboy Fred and no-nonsense Go Go Tomago, whom together form the Big Hero 6 superhero team. As the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro faces daunting academic challenges, not to mention the social trials of being the little man on campus.

  18. Death Note

    Light Turner, a bright student, stumbles across a mystical notebook that has the power to kill any person whose name he writes in it. Light decides to launch a secret crusade to rid the streets of criminals. Soon, the student-turned-vigilante finds himself pursued by a famous detective known only by the alias L.

  19. Brigsby Bear

    Brigsby Bear Adventures is a children's TV show produced for an audience of one: James. When the show abruptly ends, James's life changes forever, and he sets out to finish the story himself.

  20. Robot Chicken – Season 9

    From creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, Robot Chicken is stop-motion animation with a demented twist. Season 9 will include riffs on such properties as Mad Max: Fury RoadWestworld, and Star Wars, as well as recurring appearances by President Donald Trump.

  21. Riverdale – Season 2

    As the town breathed a collective sigh of relief that Jason’s killer had been found out, another terrible crime occurred, in a space that had been considered one of the town’s safest, most innocent places. If Jason Blossom’s murder revealed the slimy underbelly beneath Riverdale’s surface, as we enter Season 2, the shooting of Fred Andrews threatens to plunge the entire town into utter darkness.

  22. Once Upon a Time – Season 7

    After six seasons, the residents of the enchanted forest will face their greatest challenge yet as the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, and Rumplestiltskin join forces with a grown-up Henry Mills and his daughter Lucy on an epic quest to once again bring hope to their world and ours. Along the way, new fairy tale characters and old search for true love, find adventure, and once again take sides in the struggle of good against evil, as classic tales are once more twisted and reimagined.

  23. Lucifer – Season 3

    Lucifer, bored from his sulking life in hell comes to live in Los Angeles only to help humanity with its miseries through his experience and telepathic abilities to bring people's deepest desires and thoughts out of them. The climactic events of the Season 2 finale left us wondering, where in the world is Lucifer and how did he get his wings back? Well, the Season 3 trailer certainly may hold some clues.

  24. Voltron: Legendary Defender – Season 3

    Season 3 picks up in the wake of Zarkon’s defeat and Shiro’s disappearance, as the paladins struggle to move forward with no one able to pilot the black lion or the ability to form Voltron. The team must quickly devise a plan as the ascension of Prince Lotor and his generals pulls the team into a perilous game of cat-and-mouse that tests their unity and abilities more than ever before.

  25. Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling

    Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling centers on Rocko and his friends as they return to earth after being lost in space for 20 years. Rocko has trouble accepting this 21st century modern life, while Heffer and Filburt embrace every aspect of new technology, social media, and the endless diversity of food trucks. Rocko whole-heartedly believes that his nostalgia for the past can save him from the tortures of the modern world.

  26. Kingsman: The Golden Circle

    When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, the Kingsman's journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US. These two elite secret organizations must band together to defeat a common enemy.

  27. Marvel’s Inhumans

    After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

  28. The Gifted

    Teens Lauren and Andy are involved in an incident at their high school which reveals their mutual powers to the world, forcing their parents to flee their old lives in order to protect their children. The Strucker family goes on the run, but things are made even more complicated by the fact that Reed is a prosecutor in the district attorney’s office tasked with going after mutants, which is why his children hid their powers from him for as long as possible.

  29. Gotham – Season 4

    With the Court of Owls decimated, the aftermath of the Tetch virus crippling the city, and every (surviving) villain in Gotham’s underworld jockeying for power, Jim Gordon and the GCPD will have their hands full. What threat does Ra's al Ghul pose, and will Penguin regain his title as the King of Gotham? What new villains are in store, and what does Bruce Wayne’s season finale reveal mean for Gotham City?

  30. Supergirl – Season 3

    Ridding National City of Queen Rhea and her Daxamite army was a major win for Supergirl, but one that came at a significant cost, as Kara was forced to sacrifice her budding relationship with Mon-El. However, in Season 3, Kara and her team will come up against a new threat in the form of DC Worldkiller, Reign.

  31. Doctor Who Christmas Special 2017

    Peter Capaldi is on his way out as the 12th Doctor, but he has one more adventure before his inevitable regeneration. In the 2017 Christmas Special, he’ll meet the 1st Doctor, and the pair will try to fix time itself — with a little help from the Doctor’s newest companion, Bill.

  32. The Walking Dead – Season 8

    AMC is promising an all-out war in Season 8, which – for fans of the comics – brings to mind the team-up between Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom as they take on Negan and the Saviors. And based on the trailer, it looks like that might be exactly where the series is headed.

  33. The Flash – Season 4

    Barry’s victory over Savitar in Season 3 was short-lived, as an unbalanced Speed Force began to wreak havoc on Central City, forcing Barry to sacrifice himself for the greater good. Now, with The Fastest Man Alive trapped inside the extra-dimensional energy, and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, it will be up to Team Flash to free Barry from his own personal Hell.

  34. Krypton

    Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather – whose House of El was ostracized and shamed – as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

  35. Black Lightning

    Jefferson Pierce has made his choice. He hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with a daughter hell-bent on justice and a star student being recruited by a local gang, he'll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend: Black Lightning.

  36. Arrow – Season 6

    As the Green Arrow, Oliver Queen protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen, Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.

  37. Family Guy – Season 15

    Family Guy follows the dysfunctional Griffin family, consisting of father Peter, mother Lois, daughter Meg, son Chris, baby Stewie and the family dog Brian, who reside in their hometown of Quahog. Entering its 15th season, the series continues to entertain its die-hard fan base with razor-sharp humor, spot-on parodies, spectacular animation, and orchestra-backed original music. 

  38. Star Trek: Discovery

    Set roughly ten years before the events of Star Trek: The Original Series, this show sees the Klingon T'Kuvma look to unite the 24 great Klingon houses, leading to a cold war between his race and the United Federation of Planets that involves the crew of the USS Discovery.

  39. Pacific Rim: Uprising

    It’s been ten years since The Battle of the Breach and the oceans are still, but restless. Vindicated by the victory at the Breach, the Jaeger program has evolved into the most powerful global defense force in human history. The PPDC now calls upon the best and brightest to rise up and become the next generation of heroes. When the Kaiju threat returns, we will be ready

  40. Game of Thrones – Season 7

    After a summer lasting almost ten years, the words of House Stark have finally become reality once again: winter is here. This trailer features footage from the episodes “Stormborn” and “The Queen’s Justice.”

  41. Westworld – Season 2

    Set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, Season 2 of Westworld will continue to explore a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged without consequence.

  42. Stranger Things – Season 2

    Stranger Things Season 2 begins nearly a year after the first installment, on Halloween in Hawkins, Indiana. However, while all may seem well, the rift to the Upside Down remains open. When terrifying supernatural forces once again begin to affect Hawkins, they realize Will's disappearance was only the beginning.

  43. Ready Player One

    When the creator of an MMO called the Oasis dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all Oasis users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune. Wade Watts finds the first clue and starts a race for the Egg.

  44. Marvel’s The Defenders

    Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal - to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

  45. Thor: Ragnarok

    Thor's world is about to explode in Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok. His devious brother, Loki, has taken over Asgard, the powerful Hela has emerged to steal the throne for herself and Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe. To escape captivity and save his home from imminent destruction, Thor must first win a deadly alien contest by defeating his former ally and fellow Avengers... The Incredible Hulk!

  46. Justice League

    Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
