With The Last of Us finally making it to a comic-con, we can expect more in-depth interviews, more teasers, perhaps from the cast or creative team, and most definitely, a full-fledged trailer for the series.

It was only recent when HBO ‘accidentally’ leaked The Last of Us premiere date on their streaming site, only for it to be confirmed a few days after that The Last of Us is set to premiere on HBO on January 15 next year, along with their official poster for the series.

All the while, they have been promoting the show non-stop by showing sneak peeks of ‘game-accurate’ scenes to be adapted into the series. Even the actors involved in the series called one of the episodes, ‘The best hours of television’, with Joel Miller’s voice actor recalling how he literally had to pinch himself, in complete disbelief at how the Last of Us series was coming together.

Looks like we won’t have to wait around for long to watch the adaptation, with HBO’s The Last of Us premiering on January 15, 2023.
