Halo Infinite Official Release Date Revaled

Today, Microsoft has revealed new information about Halo Infinite during the Gamescom Opening Night, and that includes an official release date for the highly-anticipated sci-fi shooter. The company announced that Halo Infinite will be released on December 8, 2021. In addition to the official release date, Microsoft also showcased some brand new footage from Halo Infinite.

The announcement wasn't a big surprise for amny who saw the date leaked in the Microsoft Store, but developer 343 Studios and Microsoft also revealed a special new controller and limited-edition Xbox Series X for the shooter.

Halo Infinite was originally scheduled to release last year as the launch title for the Xbox Series X, but the negative reception to the graphics of the game prompted Microsoft and 343 Studios to delay the game by an entire year, but fans won't have to wait any longer as the game will be released in time for the franchise's 20th anniversary.

Halo Infinite is expected to release in Holiday 2021 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 PCs.
