What Is the Haikyuu!! Final Movie About?
The final Haikyuu!! movie titled Haikyuu!! The Movie - Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump will be two full-length movies to cover all the remaining unadapted chapters of the sports manga.
But is it possible to cover 110 chapters and five arcs in just two films?
The two full-length movies continue where the Tokyo National Tournament left off and feature the highly anticipated match between Nekoma and Karasuno.
Fans can expect the shift from Karasuno to Fukurodani, as the manga explored Bokuto’s explosive play style as well.
The anime adaptation stayed true to the original manga source material, so fans can expect that the movies will mirror the manga too.
However, considering that there are more than 100 chapters to cover for just two movies, fans should not expect that all of the scenes in the manga will be in the movies as well.
The first movie is listed with a runtime of 1 hour and 25 minutes, which means it likely covers 40 chapters from the manga.
Haikyuu!! Final Movie International Release Dates Confirmed
The Haikyuu!! Final movie was released in Japanese theaters on February 16, 2024. Since its local premiere, fans have been wondering when the movie will arrive in other countries outside of Japan.
Finally, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures have announced the international release dates and locations for the latest Haikyuu!! film beginning next month:
