Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have finally tied the knot in January – technically their public and second wedding. The Oklahoma ranch wedding went off the hitch with a country-meets-camp theme that was the perfect marriage of both of their styles.
Close family and close friends graced the at-home wedding, which reportedly cost Gwen Stefani around $10,000 for her formal ceremony gown and $5,000 for the mini reception dress.
A close pal of the couple, Carson Daly, previously shared how the “Hollaback Girl” songstress’ vows had everyone crying while the “God Gave Me You” hitmaker whipped out a stool and his guitar to sing his vows to his bride.
However, new reports suggest Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s honeymoon phase appears to be over already, though it has only been months since their wedding. Keep on reading to know more details.
Are Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Fighting Nonstop Lately?
OK! Magazine, in its upcoming May 16, 2022 issue, reported that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been butting heads nonstop, and their friends are concerned it could spell trouble for their union. An unnamed source claimed:
“They’ve always tried hard to please each other, especially Blake, because Gwen’s happiest when she gets her way. But he’s been asserting himself more since they got married, and it hasn’t been sitting well with Gwen.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have reportedly been putting the finishing touches on their new Oklahoma dream home, where they first got married in July 2021. However, the tipster claimed the project has turned into “a total nightmare because they argue over every little thing, from bathroom tiles to kitchen cabinet handles.”
The same informant furthered the decorating dustups have gotten worse that Gwen Stefani has been complaining about Blake Shelton’s “tacky taste” behind his back. Their fights allegedly extend beyond interior design.
The insider claimed:
“It bugs Blake when Gwen decides what they’re going to have for dinner without asking him because she’s mostly vegetarian and he likes his meat and potatoes. Gwen also gets on his case about leaving his stuff around the house. They even bicker over toothpaste because Blake never squeezes from the bottom!”
Though their loved ones are concerned that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s constant feuding could put their marriage in crisis, “they’re telling themselves the first year is always the hardest and that Blake and Gwen will work out the kinks. The source added:
“Still, it’s a little early to be pushing each other’s button all the time.”

Gwen Stefani Reveals Blake Shelton Helped Her Embrace Her Feminine Style
Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani recently sat down with Vogue and shared how Blake Shelton served as an inspiration for her style. Most, if not all, fans can recall that the “Luxurious” hitmaker attended the Met Gala 2022 in a Vera Wang chartreuse two-piece mikado ball gown with a bandeau top and long matching glovers over a voluminous skirt accented with hand-cut silk blossoms.

Talking about her look, Gwen Stefani told the magazine:
"I got a call that Vera wanted me to be her date, and I was just so honored that she chose me. She has such a distinct thing that she does that is so feminine, and I think ever since I met my husband, that part of me has really come out in my fashion more than ever — the femininity that I didn't really embrace for a lot of years, just because of being in a band with all guys and being on stage."
The wife of Blake Shelton furthered:
"Fashion and makeup are such an extension of our personalities and who we are at the time and who we want to be."
The strapless sweetheart neckline and voluminous skirt were reminiscent of the Vera Wang wedding gown Gwen Stefani donned to marry Blake Shelton in July 2021.
Of collaborating with Vera Wang again, the “Don’t Speak” singer said:
"This is in line with this amazing chapter of my life: getting married, being able to work with [Vera] on the wedding dress, and now this. When I saw the dress in real life, the sketch came to life. It was exactly what the sketch looked like."
Gwen Stefani also talked about doing her own makeup for the Met Gala after her scheduled makeup artist had to leave at the last minute. The wife of Blake Shelton stated:
"I was a makeup artist myself back in the day," Stefani told Vogue. "That said to me, 'Get in the seat and do your makeup, Gwen Stefani. You have this new makeup line, you're at The Met, and you're in New York for the first time in forever.' Luckily, I brought my kit!"
