“It’s Thanksgiving and while Meredith faces travel complications due to the weather, Nick steps in to help in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Richard and Bailey seek out emergency surgeries, and Amelia and Link reconnect,” the synopsis reads.
Is There A Trailer For Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 6?
ABC released a 15-second trailer earlier this week. The teaser opens with Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman) talking about their Thanksgiving plans.
After their conversation, the next scene shows Meredith entering the airport only to receive a text message saying that her flight has been canceled.
In the third scene, she’s on the phone with her sister-in-law, Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), and she tells the latter that her flight has been canceled and she’s in her hotel room.
Amelia and her ex, Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack) are busy preparing for the Thanksgiving feast back in Seattle. The two characters have an awkward encounter regarding the oven and whether it’s burning.
Since Meredith won’t be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with her children, it’s possible that she and Nick will spend the night together. The synopsis for this week’s episode reveals that Nick will step in to help the lead character.
Another possibility is for Nick to drive Meredith all the way to Seattle. But this might not be a good idea due to the weather conditions in Minnesota.
It would be interesting to see Nick’s dynamics with Meredith’s family and friends. After all, this is something that fans haven’t seen since Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 premiered in September.
Fans of the hit medical drama also know that Speedman is a series regular this season so he will also be featured in the upcoming episodes.
As for Amelia and Link, the two have been avoiding each other. The latter proposed to Amelia multiple times, but she rejected him.
In one of the previous episodes, Amelia told Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) that she doesn’t want to be tied down. Being with Link also made her feel that he’s got his life together, and she doesn’t.
