To celebrate the anime’s success, renowned actor Giancarlo Esposito shared a message to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fans to thank them for their support.
Esposito’s message was shared via his official Twitter account. There, he expressed his thanks via a short video of him with a personal message.
For Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Giancarlo Esposito plays Faraday, a fixer who works for Militech and the person that gives contracts to Maine and his crew.
In the English voice cast, Esposito is joined by Zach Aguilar as David, Emi Lo as Lucy, William C. Stephens as Maine, Marie Westbrook as Dorio, Stephanie Wong as Kiwi, Ian James Corlett as Pilar, and Alex Cazares as Rebecca.
Meanwhile, the Japanese voice cast features:

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime series by Trigger and CD Projekt RED, and it is based on the Cyberpunk 2077 video game which was released in December 2020.
The game itself is based on Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk tabletop role-playing game which was released back in the 90s
The series follows David, a street kid trying to survive in Night City. In the story, David becomes an edgerunner – a mercenary. Soon he encounters other edgerunners, along with the netrunner Lucy with whom he becomes close with.
Following its premiere, the series received critical acclaim, with the show being called one of the best anime of the year so far. It was also popular enough to reach the Top 10 on Netflix in over 30 countries.
Esposito is a popular actor for his various iconic roles in a range of shows. He is perhaps best known for playing Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He is also popular for his role as Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian.
Aside from these two roles, Esposito is also known for playing and being the model for Anton Castillo, the main antagonist in Far Cry 6.
While Faraday is a notable character in the show, the mercenary Rebecca was the one who proved to be a fan favorite as she trended online soon after the show’s release.
Along with Rebecca, Lucy is also another popular character, enough that there are lots of mods now that add her into the game.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is now available on Netflix.
