Ava Jerome (Maura West), Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had all been victims of the hook killer's attacks in General Hospital in less than a month. Instilling fear in everyone, the killer is still at large. Here are four potential suspects as the plot progresses.
Some General Hospital Fans Think Rory Cabrera Might be the Hook Killer
Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) has been shown as a respectable person ever since his General Hospital debut. With his nice guy demeanor, the dashing officer swiftly attracted Trina Robinson's (Tabyana Ali) attention. Fans, though, are skeptical of the cop.
Rory's past is unknown, but it's likely that he had a troubled past. Could he have been a killer in the past?
Rory's preoccupation with Trina made him a suspect. Rory wants to get rid of them because outside forces are threatening to rip them apart. Ava and Diane, of course, have strong links to Trina. Brando was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Esme Makes an Easy Suspect
The hook killer appeared on the Aug. 26 episode of General Hospital. During the Quartermaine picnic, the assailant crept up on Ava and stabbed her. Fans assumed Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) attacked Ava right away.
Esme, Ava's adversary, enjoys making Miss Jerome's life as difficult as possible. Esme fell to the ground during a fight between Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) after Ava found out about their relationship. Even though Esme has subsequently "disappeared," viewers are aware that she is still alive.
Esme is the most likely culprit in Ava's attack. Fans are baffled as to why she would kill Brando and attack Diane, though. Is there a reason she wants them killed? Or are they simply a result of her demise, collateral damage?
Dex Heller' is a Shady Character
When Brando temporarily regained consciousness, he revealed information about the hook killer to the authorities. During his fight with his attacker, Brando remembered hearing the tinkling of jewelry. Following Brando's comment, the next scene shows Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) sporting dog tags.
Dex's dog tags may be a red herring, but he cannot be ruled out as a suspect. Given his collaboration with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to bring down Sonny Corinthos, he's already dubious (Maurice Benard). Because nothing is known about Dex's past, it's likely that he's not the perfect man he appears to be.
Because the assassin appears to be targeting persons close to Sonny, Michael and Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) should exercise caution around Dex.
Could Ryan Chamberlain be the Hook Killer?
Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is one of the most well-known antagonists from General Hospital. As a murderer in the past, Ryan may have been the hook killer. It's difficult to determine his motive.
Ryan wanted to get Ava back, and he recruited his daughter Esme to aid in his strategy. To end his marriage, Esme seduced Nikolas. Knowing that Ava is to blame for Esme's absence, Ryan could've exacted retribution on his ex-fiancée, but his plan backfired when his daughter went missing.
As for Brando, at first, the murderer was after Joss before Brando came to the victim's aid. Ryan might be pursuing the people who injured his daughter because Joss was one of Esme's rivals.
