Gameplay Trailer for PS5 Launch Title Godfall Has Leaked

Godfall, the first PlayStation 5 launch title, has a lot of fans curious since it does look like a good hack-and-slash game. The emphasis on loot goes back to its Borderlands origins since it comes from the same publisher but its dazzling graphics and fun-looking gameplay does differentiate it from the original looter shooter. As we wait for more details on the PlayStation 5 game, a trailer that shows a lot of gameplay has leaked.

Thanks to fans on Reddit, people can check out the video and judge the gameplay, though it's worth pointing out that this isn't the final product yet. Honestly, it looks great and could be a fun time for fans of Borderlands or the hack-and-slash genre, though the lack of Devil May Cry-like aerial combos is a bit disappointing.

We first saw Godfall during The Game Awards and it was hard to form an opinion at the time since we didn't really get to see any cool gameplay moments. This trailer is much better and should have been what was shown instead since fans would rather see gameplay over any cinematics any day (unless it's Overwatch).

Launch titles are usually nothing to be impressed by since they tend to be showcases of what the console is capable of and little else but Godfall could be an exception. The gameplay looks pretty fun and it has gorgeous graphics so let's hope for the best. No proper release date for the PS5 launch title has been revealed.
