Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner Speaks Out Against Those Petitions That Want Season 8 Remade

Game of Thrones has finally ended and fans have a lot of thoughts that they have been sharing. There are people who think that this is the worst season of the series, saying that the writers of this show didn't know what to do after they ran out of books. This season definitely has plenty of defenders but it seems like haters are outnumbering them, with a petition wanting to remake this season getting a ton of support.

Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner, who is mostly known for her GoT role as Sansa Stark, has spoken out against these petitions to remake the season. Turner was talking with The New York Times when the topic was brought up, pointing out how these petitions are disrespectful to the writers, actors, and producers who did their best with this season.

This doesn't mean that the show is free of criticism. With only six episodes, some of which were more than an hour long, it's easy to see why people felt that the conclusion was rushed. Still, there's no doubt that the production crew did their best since Game of Thrones is probably the best fantasy show on television, with very little competition that can compare.

Fans will be able to check out the final Game of Thrones season on HBO Go or when it comes out on home media. Do you agree with Turner? Or should this season be burned to the ground like King's Landing?
