Fortnite just added Superman skins to the game on Tuesday, releasing earlier than originally antiicpated, so players who own the Season 7 Battle Pass will have a chance to play as the Man of Steel soon. There are two different Clark Kent skins with their own unique styles, and other cosmetics include Back Bling, an emote, a spray, and other goodies players can unlock.
Epic Games originally listed the release of Superman skins on August 12, but the company recently updated the content's in-game countdown timer, so Superman will arrive to Fortnite at an earlier date. Here's everything you need to know.
Fortnite Superman Skins Release Date and Time
The Superman skins were released at around 10 a.m. EST on August 10 instead of Aug. 12. The timing makes sense since this is when Epic usually adds new challenges for players to complete, and there are new challenges associated with these new cosmetics.
How to Unlock Superman Skins in Fortnite
Just like previous Superhero events in Fortnite, the Superman skins and other cosmetics can be unlocked via quests which can only be completed if you have the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass.
Fortnite Superman Skins - New Challenges and Rewards
While players can unlock the base skin by spending Battle Stars, the challenges are the main way to unlock cosmetics associated with the skin. Epic shared a breakdown of rewards you'll unlock based on the challenges you complete. To get the Clark Kent outfit, you will have to complete five different quests, and if you want to get the Superman skin, you will need to do one more task after those quests.

By completing Epic Quests, you'll earn "Shadow" Superman cosmetics. These come with a glider, banner, pickaxe, loading screen, and the final reward is the Shadow variant for Clark Kent skin which also comes with a Shadow style for Superman.

This Quest unlocks the built-in Secret Identity Emote, which transforms Clark Kent into Superman and vice versa. (Alternatively, players can choose to start matches as Superman in their Locker!) The Superman Cape Back Bling is also unlocked by this Quest.
