The young star’s acting career began when he answered an ad on Craiglist. He then made his TV debut in “The 100,” followed by “Supernatural.”
His most notable role came in 2016 when he played Mike Wheeler in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
From there, he started to land much bigger roles. He led the movie adaptation of Stephen King’s novel IT.
He then made Dog Days, opposite Vanessa Hudgens and Nina Dobrev, and reprised his role as Ritchie Tozier in It: Chapter Two.

He continued joining festivals and premiered at SXSW Film Festival with the movie Rules for Werewolves.

Finn Wolfhard’s Directorial Debut and Other Ventures
Despite the young age, Finn Wolfhard had already tried directing. He made his directorial debut with the short film Night Shifts in August and released the film on YouTube.
He also co-directed a music video for the band Spendtime Palace.
In addition to his list of expertise, the actor is also a musician. He played the guitar and was the vocalist of the Canada-based band Calpurnia.

He then joined the group The Aubreys and released a single in March 2020, followed by an EP. They stopped releasing music by 2021.
