Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Official Release Date Announced With New Trailer

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered finally gets an official release date: September 3, 2019, and it will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for $19.99.

The official Final Fantasy Twitter account announced the news alongside a new release date trailer that features unforgettable moments from the game such as the failed assassination of Edea, Squall and Rinoa's romantic dance, gameplay battle sequences, and other cutscenes we can't wait to see in the remastered version.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will bring the 1999 RPG classic to the present day with "new graphical enhancements and a whole host of options to customize your gameplay experience."

Final Fantasy VIII was my favorite RPG back in the day but I would rather play a new Final Fantasy game than play the same old classic with enhanced graphics.
