Final Fantasy VII Remake: Square Enix's Ethics Department is Why Tifa's Bust Size Was Reduced

Final Fantasy VII Remake is looking to be one of the better remakes coming out and will likely be one of March's best-selling games; that is a guarantee. While fans have mixed feelings when it comes to the game's multiple parts, the fantastic redesigns and more action-oriented combat has convinced a lot of people to, at least, give this game a chance.

Tifa Lockhart was recently shown off and she looks amazing. Fans were filled with joy when they saw how gorgeous her character model is and her attacks looked very good in motion. However, there is a certain section of fans who are angry over the fact that Tifa's boobs are smaller now. They also hate the fact that she is wearing a sports bra.

Seriously.

Remake co-director Tetsuya Nomura was asked about this by Famitsu (via Eurogamer) and he felt that it was necessary to restrict her chest. The Square Enix ethics department wanted the character to look natural when fighting so making her chest a bit smaller was a compromise that needed to be made. They're still pretty big though, hence the sports bra to make things more comfortable and practical for the character.

Can fans stop complaining about this now? Seriously, she looks great and the fact that there is a small section of fans complaining about this is mind-boggling.

Final Fantasy VII Remake comes out on March 3, 2020.
