Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 will be the last and final season of the first The Walking Dead spinoff.
As it’s expected to finally tie all the loose ends, fans are looking forward to getting some answers to their lingering questions and plot holes.
Morgan (Lennie James) and Madison (Kim Dickens) are back to put everything to a close in The Walking Dead Season 8. However, with only limited order of 12 episodes divided into two parts, will fans get to see all their questions answered this time?
The Main Story of Fear the Walking Dead Season 8
The final season is confirmed to center on the fight with PADRE, the mysterious organization a lot of characters are trying to find during the war against Victor Strand.
Hence, Morgan and the rest of his group are about to face their final battle.

Considering the previous season finale had hinted at what PADRE could do, the upcoming war might be the series’ sole focus. So, how about the unresolved plotlines?
Will There Be Conflict Between Charlie, Madison?
On the list made by Screen Rant, it claimed Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) might have died before the eighth season began after contracting radiation poison during the seventh season.
Grace (Karen David) and June (Jenna Elfman) said she couldn’t survive. So, with the seven-year time jump, her death may have happened between seasons.
From there, Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 can easily avoid a conflict between Charlie and Madison.

Madison’s return resulted in assumptions that the series had to address the fact that her son’s killer was one of them.
But if she dies before Madison meets the group, the show no longer has to delve into that story.
How Did Madison Survive the Fire?
The most interesting part of the story is probably Madison’s mysterious return. Her return to the previous season was a surprise to many, retconning her confirmed death.
However, the show has not explained how she made it alive after that fire at the baseball stadium in the fourth midseason finale.

As that scene seemed to show she had no way out to survive, the series might find it hard to justify her return.
What Happened to Morgan’s Son?
In the released footage of Fear the Walking Dead Season 8, Morgan and Grace are in his house, where the latter is reminiscing about The Walking Dead’sRick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
This scene seems to hint at the final season revisiting the fate of Morgan’s family.
It has been known that his wife killed his son, Duane, forcing him to kill her after months of thinking to do so.
Hence, the final season is expected to reveal what happened after the death of Morgan’s son.
