M3GAN revolves around the story of the eponymous artificially intelligent doll who develops self-awareness and becomes hostile to anyone who comes between her and her human companion.

The James Wan-produced film has already generated $45 million at the worldwide box office and counting and pretty much launched M3GAN as cinema's newest horror sensation. Speaking of the lifelike doll that is currently giving Annabelle a run for her money, many are convinced that the character, physically portrayed by Amie Donald and voiced by Jenna Davis looks oddly familiar.

Apparently, a lot of people believe M3GAN closely resembles Marvel Cinematic Universe star Elizabeth Olsen and since the first teaser for the flick was released a number of months back, fans already noticed their likeness.

Some are even convinced that the people behind the latest horror blockbuster actually modeled M3GAN after the Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch actress while others genuinely thought Olsen was playing the part. Honestly, it's hard to unsee. Check out some of the reactions below:

It hasn't even been a week since M3GAN hit cinemas but it's already looking pretty evident that Universal Pictures is very pleased with its performance, so much so that according to a new report from Deadline, the film has already been greenlit to get a sequel as well as a gorier and unrated version.

M3GAN is now screening in cinemas everywhere.
