Enchanted Sequel Still in the Works

It's been a while since we've gotten an update on the Enchanted sequel, but it looks like the movie is still in the works, and still has a director attached.

According to Variety Adam Shankman (Hairspray), who is directing Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney+, is still working in pre-production for Disenchanted. As of now, it's still unclear on whether Shankman will be working on Hocus Pocus or Enchanted 2 first, but we know that a lot more fans are excited about the latter.

When the news came out about Disenchanted still in development, a lot of fans suddenly took to Twitter, and now Enchanted 2 has gone up to trending with more than 6k tweets. There's even a clip of Amy Adams going around from 2018 with her saying she's excited about working on the Enchanted sequel.

After it was announced that the movie was finally moving forward last year, we haven't gotten any relevant updates since then. What we do know is, there are a lot of fans who want to see the film released, and are hopeful that Amy Adams makes a comeback as the first live-action Disney princess.

Ten years after her happily ever after, Giselle questions her happiness, inadvertently turning the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down in the process.

No release date has been set for Disenchanted.
