The world premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power may have blown away a lot of critics but not everyone seems impressed with the new Amazon Prime Video series like the business magnate Elon Musk who isn't thrilled about the show saying, "Tolkien is turning in his grave."

The double-header premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power worldwide took everyone into a new look of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien in a multi-million dollar series on Amazon Prime Video. While it amazed the critics, the wealthiest person in the world thinks otherwise.

Elon Musk personally aired out his criticisms on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power through Twitter, "Tolkien is turning in his grave."

Musk also expressed how he disliked the characters, except Galadriel, saying, "Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice."

Review bombs had been hitting the show quite hard on review platforms such as Rotten Tomatoes where the show garnered only 39% audience score and Metacritic with only 2.5 user score. Recently, Amazon suspended the user review feature for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, takes the center stage in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power as she takes on the mission of her late brother to face an evil greater than anyone could possibly imagine: Sauron.

Words travel fast and far especially with the casting of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power that the show even faced backlash for having persons of color take on some roles but the series remains firm with their decision to diversify the cast of the show.

There's still a lot of hope for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power as the series is just starting with six episodes left for Season 1 and four more seasons coming up after.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 3 will be released on September 9, 2022. Episodes 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
