EA Play Event arrives this year and summer will definitely be a better one as Electronic Arts announced its "save the date." This would mean that two events for the video game industry will be happening in two consecutive months with E3 2021 still in its original schedule.

Electronic Arts released a tweet announcing that EA Play Live will be happening this summer and while the date seems to be quite odd for a schedule, it only means that there would be ample time for announcements between E3 2021 and EA Play Live.

This year's E3 2021 will be the 26th E3 or the Electronic Entertainment Experience which happens annually every June wherein the video game industry gathers such as game publishers, software developers, and hardware manufacturers in presenting their newest and latest product releases. This year, considering the ongoing pandemic, the event will be an all virtual one and everyone has a free access to it.

Electronic Arts has yet to reveal anything aside from the release date but it surely cooks an excitement for video game enthusiasts considering the events happening in consecutive months. It also makes EA's presentation for E3 this year an interesting one as it keeps the details in the shadows. Possibly, with Battlefield 6 being one of the most famous games of EA right now, it is expected to be in the said presentation.

Recently, EA teased when there would be a first look for Battlefield 6 with a tweet on the official Battlefield Twitter account saying, "Words that rhyme with Soon: June, Boom" and while that didn't explicitly tell when the game will be released, it could be hinted that it would have something big in line on the said month, the same month when E3 2021 will be happening.

EA Play Live will be happening on July 22, 2021 so save the date and make sure not to miss any update from EA.
