EA Makes Drastic Change to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel’s Title

I think we can all agree that 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the best Star Wars video games the franchise has put out in recent memory. This is why fans have constantly been asking for updates regarding its sequel which has long been confirmed to be in development.

Unfortunately, the release of the video game, which was originally expected to take place sometime this year has been delayed indefinitely. Now, a new update about Fallen Order 2 has just been released and it's definitely not something fans would have expected.

It looks like the folks over at Electronic Arts are set to make some pretty interesting changes to the entire Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order series and according to a new scoop, the highly anticipated video game will be receiving a brand new title.

During his recent Twitch stream, gaming insider Jeff Grubb asked his followers to guess the new title of the Fallen Order sequel. Shockingly enough, user colonelsanders21 guessed it correctly and the upcoming game will now be called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. As it stands, EA has yet to confirm the rumored change so take it with a Death Star-sized grain of salt.

It was initially thought that the sequel will simply be called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 but I guess that seems a little too convenient. Meanwhile, the Fallen Order follow-up is also reportedly going to be available only on current-gen consoles which spells bad news for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.

As it stands, the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel is currently eyeing a 2023 release.
