It has only been two days since Diablo IV was released but people are already hitting major milestones on the latest Blizzard title. Rob2628 just became the first player to reach level 100 at normal difficulty, but someone already reached the maximum level on the video game's Hardcore Mode.

Former StarCraft 2 Player Does The Unthinkable and Reaches Level 100 on Diablo 4's Hardcore Mode

Twitch user cArn_ is known for playing DOTA but the gamer just proved they can do so much more. Just a day after the release of Diablo 4, cArn_ reached the maximum level of the new Blizzard title.

That's not even the awesome part of it. cArn_ actually reached Level 100 while he is on Hardcore Mode, which is, for a lack of better terms, absolutely hardcore.

The Hardcore Mode in Diablo 4 is not for the faint-hearted (or impatient). you still have to go through the same routine: creating a character, leveling up, and searching for the best loot.

However, if you die in this mode, you're not getting resurrected. Once your character bites the dust, you automatically have to go back to square one. Yep, that means creating the character and levelling up all over again. (You also lose all the loot you found, which is a fate worse than death TBH).

With all that out of the way, it's safe to say that cArn_ is getting exactly what he deserves. His name will be carved into Blizzard's Lilith statue and he has already submitted his claim to the official Diablo 4 Twitter account.

Not surprisingly, Diablo global community development director Adam Fletcher already acknowledged the feat.

Diablo IV was first announced at BlizzCon 2019 but was not released until four years later. The game brings back the Rogue class from the first game and players will have to deal with the resurrection of Lilith.

Diablo 4 is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
