Sixteen of the best Dota 2 teams all over the world will be clashing against each other on one last Major tournament before The International 2019 this June 22 in Moscow.

With a prize pool of over $1,000,000 and 15,000 DPC points awaiting the champions, the Epicenter Major will surely be a sight to behold as a lot of big names and some new teams are set to battle it out through the end.

The Epicenter Major's group stage will be a one-day event from the 22nd to the 23rd, where 16 teams divided into four groups of four teams each will be playing a best-of-three format, with the top two teams of each group advancing to the upper bracket. The bottom two of each group will be dishing out their last stand on the lower bracket. Playoffs will be held from the 24th to the 30th, which will be a nerve-wracking double-elimination.

Here is the preview for the groups and teams as posted by the official Epicenter Twitter account:

Crowd favorites Team Secret and SEA powerhouse Fnatic will be playing along Royal Never Give Up and paiN Gaming in Group A.

On the other hand, Evil Geniuses, Infamous Gaming, Gambit Esports, and Team Liquid will be competing in Group B. Of all the groups, Group B is predicted to be one of the most interesting teams to look out for especially with the recent departure of Lasse 'Matumbaman' Urpalainen 10 days before the tournament, who was recently replaced by Omar 'W33' Aliwi.

Group C will be pitting Russian giant Virtus Pro along with Forward Gaming, Vici Gaming, and TI3 champions Alliance.

However, an all-powerhouse team will be clashing in Group D, as four-time Major winners and TI8 champion OG, Chinese powerhouse PSG.LGD and SEA giant TNC Predator along with back-to-back Minor champions Ninjas in Pyjamas will be fighting it out for slots in the upper bracket.

The Epicenter is expected to be a major tournament for Dota 2 teams as it will determine who will receive a direct invite for The International 2019, which will be held this August 2019.
