Dollface will return to TV screens more than two years after its November 2019 debut. Hulu has released a slightly NSFW trailer and poster for the highly anticipated Dollface Season 2, which depicts the show's main ensemble struggling to move on after spending some time indoors due to the pandemic, sentiments that will be familiar to viewers.

Dollface Season 2 Trailer

Jules (Kat Dennings) attends a sexy dancing lesson with her gal buddies Madison (Brenda Song), Stella (Shay Mitchell), and Izzy (Esther Povitsky) in the trailer. "Am I doing this wrong? I feel like Velma looking for her glasses," Jules says, as Stella seems to be getting into the rhythm.

Season 2, of course, includes more than just awful dance moves, as it follows the girls "post-pandemic, post-heartbreak," and "heading toward turning thirty," as described by the streamer. This involves new experiences like starting a business, shopping for adult toys, and fortifying their friendship bonds. Watch the trailer for Season 2 below:

Dollface Season 2's New Faces

There will be significant changes in Dollface Season 2. Lilly Singh has been cast as Liv, Stella's business partner, and romantic interest. Michelle Nader, who previously collaborated with Dennings on the sitcom 2 Broke Girls, has been named the series' new showrunner, succeeding Ira Ungerleider.

While the high-profile reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, titled Bel-Air, and the long-awaited return of critically acclaimed The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel both premiere in February, Dollface will likely find an audience looking for a fun comedic alternative heading into Valentine's Day weekend.

The surrealist humor of Dollface is on full display in the two-minute video, which also features the return of Beth Grant's Cat Lady character. Interestingly, the new video features familiar awkward beats and an aspect of development, with Stella starting a bar with a new cast member, Liv.

With a focus on development, Jules is mentored by her supervisor, played by Malin Akerman. The clip also assures fans that the show's lifeblood, friendship (in all of its aspects), would not be abandoned for other storylines.

Dollface Season 2 premieres exclusively on Hulu on Feb. 11.
