The film has a lot to offer, that is for sure, as it explores the multiverse on a larger scale than that of Loki. It takes one girl to make everyone's universe crumble, America Chavez, and she is being pursued by monsters from different realities.

At one point, he reaches Earth 616, the current MCU reality that everyone followed for the last decade and she encountered Doctor Strange who makes the jump with her through different universes. However, such has been considered a desecration of reality.

Their presence in a different universe puts the universe they transfer to and the one they left at risk of the incursion, where one reality bleeds into another, and Doctor Strange, being the adult, has to face the Illuminati alone.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness really made it sure that everyone would be excited to see who the members are and when they are dramatically introduced, one by one, by Mordo, the cheer of all those who are watching are to the top of their lungs.

Then, there is Black Bolt, the King of the Inhumans, portrayed by Anson Mount, the same actor who played the role in the canceled series of Inhumans. He doesn't speak for even a whisper he utters would result to death and destruction.

A different Captain Marvel comes into the picture, as well, with Maria Rambeau, the best friend of Carol Danvers in Earth 616, and the actress who plays her is the same in the first Captain Marvel film, Lashana Lynch. This variant of Maria became Captain Marvel in the universe where the Illuminati is.
