Disney+’s Lady and the Tramp Gets a New Trailer

While Disney is setting off to remake numerous classics like The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, some properties apparently don't deem a theatrical release. One film coming straight to the streaming service is Lady and the Tramp, and Disney has released a new trailer for the film.

In Disney+'s "Lady and the Tramp," a timeless re-telling of the 1955 animated classic, a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home.

The movie looks like your standard talking animals film, and you can expect the usual production value when it comes to a live-action Disney film. I have to admit, some of the CG on the animals is a bit shoddy, but I'm sure it's not going to ruin the film.

What I also find interesting is it looks like the film will be bringing in the cats from the original movie. I thought Disney was going to scratch that concept since the cats were kind of racist caricatures; it's likely they won't have that element in this new version. I'm curious if they'll even go so far as to include the song:

Lady and the Tramp is the first of many films coming to Disney+, and this will likely set the tone for upcoming films coming to the platform.

Catch Lady and the Tramp when it comes out on Disney+ which launches on Nov. 12.
