Disney Releases Toy Story 4’s First Full Trailer Reuniting Woody And Bo Peep

Disney has finally dropped the first full trailer for Toy Story 4 online along with a brand new poster for the latest entry in the Toy Story franchise.

Running for a good two-minutes-and-a-half, the new trailer for Toy Story 4 introduces us to Forky, a "friend" that Bonnie made out of a spork and other different materials in her class. Forky is the most important toy to Bonnie, but the toy insists that he doesn't belong with Wood and the gang, saying that his only purpose is to fork out salads and other meals before getting tossed into the trash bin. Forky escapes from the family's RV and that's where Woody's adventure starts

Woody tries to bring Forky back as he finds his way back home to Bonnie, however, the toy sheriff soon finds himself questioning his own perspective in life when he bumps into Bo Peep, an old crush who's changed so much since her last appearance in Toy Story 2.

It's definitely going to be exciting seeing Woody's journey. Toy Story 4 might be meant for children, but a narrative that showcases a lot of internal struggle and the existential crisis is definitely fitting for older audiences as well.

Toy Story 4's trailer promises some pretty big emotional moments in the film – not that surprising considering the franchise has always managed to move audiences to tears.

Here's the synopsis for Toy Story 4:

Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie's beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as "trash" and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family's road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo's adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they're worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that's the least of their worries.

Toy Story 4 is set to premiere on June 21.
