It was recently announced that Disney+ was going to come as an add-on for Hulu subscribers, but there were no details specified on whether the service was going to come cheaper. During an investors call for Disney, CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that there will be a bundle that will make Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ cheaper for everyone.
During the Disney Investors call (via The Verge), Iger has announced that the Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ bundle will cost $12.99 a month—which is already on par (and even cheaper) than competitors Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. You can also compare that to HBO's streaming price which is at $16–17 a month.
As it stands, Hulu is currently worth $5.99 a month with ads and ESPN+ costs $4.99 alone. With this 12-dollar bundle, you can have all your Disney-owned streaming platforms for relatively cheaper.
Of course, there's still the option to get Disney+ on its own. The original offer still stands at $6.99 per month, with an annual price of $69.99. Fans are expecting that number to change at some point, but for now, it seems a good deal for fans who want to get exclusive Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney content.
We don't have that much information on Disney+ admittedly, but fans are hoping for some kind of big reveal come the D23 Expo later this month. I'm also betting we're going to be getting a first look at some incoming series like The Mandalorian or maybe The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
Disney+ is set to launch this coming Nov. 12.
