What Happens in Demon Slayer Season 2?
The brief teaser for Demon SlayerKimetsu no Yaiba – Yukaku-hen confirms that the second season will follow the Operation: Entertainment District story arc. In this particular arc, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke head for the Yoshiwara red-light district on a mission with the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui.
Not surprisingly, Uzui features prominently in the Demon Slayer Season 2 trailer as well as the key visual. With that in mind, fans can expect to see the Sound Pillar in action in the upcoming season.
When is the Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date?
It has been confirmed that Demon SlayerKimetsu no Yaiba – Yukaku-hen will premiere in 2021. However, the Season 2 release date has not yet been announced.
There is a possibility that the announcement will be made after Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train gets enough time screening in theaters. Interestingly, the release date could take a little longer than initially expected.
Fans have been hoping that Demon Slayer Season 2 will premiere sometime in April since the first season debuted at about the same period. However, there is a possibility that Yukaku-hen will be released in Fall 2021 which could be in October. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
